Default Epidemic and Fragilty question

Does anyone know if fragility is triggered when you epidemic someone? Would it count as them recovering from it?

You'd need at least two targets. Fragility on one, conditions on the other, and use Epidemic on the (heavily) conditioned target to cause conditions on the one who has Fragility, triggering damage.

Epidemic does not cause your target to recover from any conditions. Epidemic takes a carbon copy of the conditions stacked on your target and applies that copy to other enemies within range of your target.

It's exactly how life would work if someone had a disease - Joe has it and the person who had it still has it.

You can use Hypochondria.

that was the idea have a hypo and epedemic mes with fragility and the rest of the team sends conditions everywhere then the mes uses fragility followed by hypo then epidemic to cause mass dmg and pressure of conditions everywhere. It was for TA and AB. Oh well it would have been fun.

You can use Fevered Dreams in combination with Hypochondria to create a similar situation. Fragility, though, will of course only affect one foe.

I played around with a similar idea a while ago.

I used a Fragility + condition spike + epidemic spike on a single target coupled with fevered dreams on another target to reapply conditions on the first target, further activating fragility, and finally used a crystal wave to finish the target off.

I abandoned the idea because it was too bulky to be effective and after the first spike monks would just remove fragility or fevered dreams once they appeared rendering the spike useless.

Hypchondria and Epidemic were changed on NF release so this wouldn't work (there were skill abuses during the preview weekend).

Hypochondria was changed. Epidemic doesn't do enough to be abused.

This will work (you shouldn't do it, but you can, if you want).

I make fun builds when I am bored. They aren't really ment to work but are fun to use. Like 4 greifers in TA<_<>_>

it works, but often times, its really not worth it to stack all those conditions only do spread it to another person to get mild damage out of fragility. You would be better off just crippling/snaring them and nuking the hell out a 'em.
